  1. I have found when we don’t live this way, we can suffocate. Keep doing what you are doing…living authentically.

  2. Lovely post, Christine.

My brand is the one thing I have never been unclear on… because my work will change age categories and genres at times, but the one consistency that will always be is ME (for better or worse). And I cannot be anyone else. Sometimes it’s a struggle to figure out how best to present me, but that will always be the case. And if I try to follow what “everyone else is doing” it feels fake to me and if it feels fake, then that is how it will come across.

It sounds like you have come to terms that will be beneficial for you all the way around. 🙂 That is absolutely fantastic and I am happy for you. I look forward to watching your journey and watching your writing change and grow as you do.

  3. Wow, what a great post. I feel the same way about followers. I don’t understand 1) the desire to have so many or 2) the need to follow and unfollow. I see this was written almost a year ago, but I just stumbled upon your blog last week (I think) and your writing is gorgeous and inspirational. I think I’ll stick around 🙂 especially when you talk about feelings and family. That’s my kind of language.
